Stella Eason Williams

Stella Eason Williams passed away suddenly at Integris Hospice after a brief illness in Edmond, Oklahoma on February 28, 2014 at the age of 97.
Stella was born November 23, 1916 in Rolla, Arkansas. Stella was married to Charley Boyd Williams on February 21, 1931; they were married for 70 years and 3 days. Stella was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was a former member of Damascus Baptist Church in Malvern, Arkansas for the majority of her life.
Stella is survived by one son, Alvin Williams and wife Elizabeth of Edmond, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great- great-grandchild; sister, Helen Cameron; and many nieces and nephews.
Stella is preceded in death by her husband, Charley Boyd Williams; daughter, Ruthelene Williams Edwards; son, Travis Clyde Williams; two grandchildren; brothers, Leo Eason and Cleo Eason; and sisters, Gladys Johnson and Cosie Hummel.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Atkinson Chapel with Bro. Billy Bosley officiating. Burial will follow at Damascus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Williams, Gary Touchstone, Charles Edwards, Eddie Hodges, Darrell Hughes, and Linda Beasley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Damascus Cemetery Association, Attention: Charles Butler.
